When I asked Ali if she'd want to help plan a styled shoot in the *dead* of Nebraska's winter, I was pretty surprised she said yes! And as luck would have it, our date scheduled for mid-February ended up being beautifully warm!

This renaissance-esque themed shoot highlights the coziness that can be found in winter. With dark wine, a cheeseboard filled with winter fruits like pears and plums, we wanted the whole mood to feel welcoming and cozy with a chilly twist. Through details like the fur coat and winter greenery used in the bouquet, we wanted all of the little nuances showcase the beauty of winter weddings (just without the white snow and frozen noses!)

We are so thrilled with how this shoot played out. And we absolutely couldn't have done it with an amazing and flexible team! With Kate Poskochil of KJ and Company on the food, Whitney Wilson of Whitney Rose Artistry on makeup, and Jessica Wollam of Hair Gone Wollam on hairstyling, we were already bent for success. :) Of course, the biggest shout out to my go-to gal for all things wedding photography, Ali Schuerman (Ali Marie Photography),  for being the best photog and friend. :)
