The Goedeke’s Maternity Session in Grand Rapids, Michigan

Mia and Justin reached out for an editorial-inspired maternity session in Grand Rapids a few months before their due date. Mia’s vision included lots of black and white portraits which is right up my alley! I love capturing simple, elegant, and timeless photos that document each of life’s beautiful stages. Can I just say – these maternity photos deserve a front-cover on a magazine somewhere Mia is SO stunning! Mia’s maternity glow was *so* real. She was beaming the whole shoot! And she is ROCKING that Bumpsuit!!

Mia’s vision came to life so perfectly – and both of us couldn’t choose a favorite photo! We decided to shoot at Wealthy Studios in Grand Rapids and the beautiful backdrops made for a great experience. And seeing her and Justin connecting and enjoying their time together in front of the camera helped me so much! Upon booking their maternity session, Mia + Justin opted to include a newborn session as well. Getting to document not one but two of their special stages of life was such a joy!
